Head of B2C Digital Front-end to Telenor

Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Head of B2C Digital Front-end to Telenor. As part of the IT – management, you will play a key role in their digital transformation and shaping the future IT organization.

They have divided the IT-departments into tribes, and re-organized the teams into cross-functional squads. They have also divided the marketing department into the 3 different tribes; Sales & Marketing, Customer Life Cycle-management and Service & Support, with the goal of digitalizing the costumer interaction while maintaining the same possibilities as in retail.

As Head of B2C Digital Front-end you will have a key role in Telenor´s digital transformation with responsibility of development and operations of all digital channels. Digital Front-end develop services and content and drive the digital business and services going forward, as well as simplifying and improving their customers everyday flow through a world class customer experience.

Digital Front-end is a tribe that consists of 2 main areas: Web & App as well as API. It is an international team currently consisting of a mix of employees, and consultants, mainly located in Stockholm, and make up around 60 people in the organization. There is a clear ambition to reduce the share of consultants significantly going forward. All the teams work in a cross-functional setup with the Consumer division, which have recently re-organized the entire digital sales & marketing functioning into a full agile setup.

About the role
Telenor is looking for a talent to drive and shape the agenda for their digital channels, and to play a key role in their digital transformation journey. The role is part of the IT-management, and you will be working closely with others, more back-end oriented tribes, and strategy functions. As part of this team you will be part of shaping the future IT organization and technical strategy.

Recruiting, developing, and shaping the team as well as driving a cultural shift from being reactively accepting requirements to actively engage in the team mission, will be a major part of your challenge. You should have some technical competence within the digital domain as Telenor is looking for you to drive the design in this area. They also believe that you are structured, analytical, able to communicate with impact, and be great at collaborating with stakeholders.

Your background
To succeed in the role as Head of B2C Digital Front-end, Telenor believe that you have multiple years of professional experience within digital development, driving and engaging in transformation on a management level. Meritorius for the position is background as a developer and/or experience from budgeting/forecasting of OPEX and CAPEX and working with stakeholders.
