Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Product Manager to Fishbrain, the world largest social platform for people who love fishing. It’s the most popular hobby in the world and Fishbrains ambition is to revolutionize the way anglers connect, find fishing spots, and log catches with help from over 7 million unique registered users.

Fishbrain is an online logging, photo-sharing and social networking service that enables the users to record data about and take pictures of catches, and share them either publicly or privately on the social networking platforms. Fishbrain is the foursquare of fishing with a unique knowledge collection of fishing spots and catches connected to them.

With people all over the world frequently using the application, Fishbrain has grown huge overseas and has its largest user group in the Unites States. With 200 million people sport fishing around the world, they are connecting anglers to make fishing dreams come true, today and tomorrow.

Fishbrain anglers have logged over 5 million catches. And on any given day, Fishbrain lets you choose from over 1.7 million fishing locations worldwide. About the role
As a Product Manager you’ll merge technology and design into one seamless and relevant user experience. In this role you’ll go deep on engagement, retention, and delivering user value. You’ll work in a cross-functional team, collaborate with our other Product Managers, and report to the Chief Product Officer.

You will prioritize team projects and development based on user value, impact, and company goals – and continually communicate your prioritization within your team and the company. Conduct product and user research and you will continuously facilitate retrospectives to help your team identify and implement improvements to the way we work and define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your team’s work.

Fishbrain are looking for three Product Managers. One Product Manager with experience of working with understanding of the consumers using and preferably experience of e-commerce and payments. And the other Product Manager is someone who is passionate about how social networks and online communities work, both functionally and socially. Ideally you’ve worked for a social networking app or company before.

The third Product Manager will preferably have experience in B2B and of product development like product management or product strategy. Experience of integrate external partners into the roadmap and vision of a product. Experience in business development or marketing is a plus but not a requirement.

You need to be driven and have the ability to think critically and creatively. You need to have good understanding for the teams dynamic and a deep empathy for consumer needs.
